Traveller

Traveller is a quarter horse, and a former barrel racer, gentle enough for grand-daughters.  He was donated because of a lump in his salivary gland which is presumably cancer, but I do not think it was ever officially biopsied.  The former owner's vet told her "He may have five weeks, he may have five years".  I was a little apprehensive about taking on a horse with cancer (a first, for me) but he presents as if he is in no pain whatsoever, and is delightfully well-schooled.  He has already acclimatized himself well to our herd, and that is always a plus.
